|Thema: Regarding the tesoro hardware from the 3v3 tournam|
A few months ago we played in the the smite 3v3 joust league tournament series from smitebase sponsored by tesoro, we didn't win but we had a lot of fun playing it! However I'm here on behalf of my friend 'Iraffer' who has encountered a little problem. The tournament was won by a team called 'JukerNukerz' consisting of 'Iraffer' 'Samhawk' and 'Kuresento'. The price for their victory was an amazing hardwarepack from tesoro. The hardware was shipped to Samhawk who was supposed to send it to Iraffer, however he never did! Instead he gave the hardware to one of his friends. Now my friend Iraffer and I are wondering if there is anyway you could help us out? Also sorry for posting in English but my German is pretty bad.
Vielen Dank im Voraus,
Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that, but unfortunately I don't think that there is much we could do as we have no possibilities to get the hardware back from your former team captain.
I'm sad to hear that but I gues it can't be helped. Is there anything else you think I can do? Maybe contact tesoro?
There has to be something we can do! I mean this guy basically stole 300 euros worth of hardware. Any help is appreciated.
The only thing you could probably do is getting a lawyer in case you can somehow prove that he "stole" the hardware.
Hi, it's iraffer.
Maywood has been doing an excellent job of trying to resolve this for me, but i thought i would make an appearence myself. I basically have screenshots of Samhawk admitting not sending me the gear and giving it his friend. Surely theres something you guys can do about this? You have his home address so is there a possiblity of sending him a letter to try and cover this without further action. I have spoke to members of hi rez about this and i'm not sure what they can do either. But i'm really unhappy and i don't want to have to take this to social media as i'm a pro gamer in the smite community, it would be disappointing. So if there's anything you can do in your power to at least try to help me. I would be grateful.
I even have his email if you guys would like it.
I'm very sorry for you and I understand that you're disappointed and unhappy about that. But it's not in our sphere of influence to solve this problem. We send the Hardware to Samhawk and there our influence ends. It's a problem between you three. The only thing that we could do, is write him, but I dont think that would change something. So you have to solve this with him.
So you just send the gear out and watch people get screwed over because your "influence" is over.
This is his email. email@example.com
Not gonna hold my breath.
I will just contact tesoro and let them know everything that has happened. They probably won't be able to do much either but at least they have their information on how helpful everyone has been to me about resolving this. And make sure my fans / followers know too because it's pretty outrageous how passive this has been handled. HES A THIEF... why do people not care about thieves blantently robbing things with proof against their actions.
like I said before I totally understand your situation and I'm really sorry for this. But let me give you a more detailed explanation about how I see the situation and what I think we could do, since you obviously would like us to take action against him.
So let's see what we could do:
- We could obviously write him and ask him to send you the prizes like it was originally arranged. We can do that if you think that helps, but I highly doubt that he would care much. Nevertheless, we can do this for you.
- We can check the facts and proofs and in case we think that he really stole the prizes, we can ban him from future Smitebase events. We're already doing this.
So what else can we do? We have his address, yes. But do you think we can send him our goon squad to beat the prizes out of him? Don't get me wrong, I'm still taking your problem seriously, but we can't do much with his address. A letter would have probably the same effect as an e-mail.
So what I try to say: I understand that you are upset, but there is just not much we can do for you, even if we would like to help. Of course you are free to try to start a shitstorm on Twitter, but that won't help either. Keep in mind: HE stole the products from you, not us.
Just anything you can do to try and get this gear back would be appriciated. Thank you.
