Der kommende Titel Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel hat Gold-Status erreicht. Dies bedeutet nichts anderes als das der Titel fertig in der Entwicklung ist und pünktlich releast wird. Quelle hierfür ist der Twitter-Post von Randy Pitchford. Veröffentlicht wird der Titel am 14. Oktober in Nordamerika und am 17. Oktober in Europa für den PC, für die Last-Gen PlayStation 3 und für die Next-Gen Xbox One.
