Der nächste deutsche Spieler vor dem Abflug: Dexter nicht mehr Teil von CLG

Und wieder ist es ein Deutscher, der sich dazu entscheidet, der nordamerikanischen League of Legends-Szene den Rücken zu kehren. Vor wenigen Tagen berichteten wir bereits darüber, dass Maurice ‚Amazing‘ Stückenschneider und Team SoloMid in Zukunft getrennte Wege gehen werden. Nun trifft es mit Marcel ‚Dexter‘ Feldkamp einen weiteren deutschen Export-Schlager.

Als Grund für seine Abgang nennt Dexter mitunter Probleme innerhalb des Teams, die ihn zu diesem Schritt bewegen.

Although I enjoyed the majority of my time with CLG, there were some rough patches. Not everything that happens is entirely transparent and known, nor should it be. I do not want to insist on the negative aspects. I just want to mention that at times I have felt uncomfortable and even unhappy as it was a factor, although not a decisive one.

Doch ganz von der Bildfläche will der Deutsche nicht verschwinden. In seinem Statement gibt er weiter bekannt, dass er einige Möglichkeiten, jedoch noch keine Entscheidung getroffen hat. Es bleibt also abzuwarten, wohin es Dexter in Zukunft verschlagen wird.

At the moment I am considering some opportunities although I have made no decision and am keeping an open mind in regards to the future.

Mittlerweile hat sich auch George ‚HotshotGG‘ Georgallidis, seines Zeichens Besitzer von CLG, zu dieser Thematik geäußert:

Dexter’s play helped us to do great things during Season 4 but at the same time we also ran into some of our greatest difficulties as a team. Things got rough and it became clear that change was something both the team and dexter needed. We are appreciative of all his work and time but ultimately we feel this decision is in the best interest of everyone involved. We wish him luck and we look forward to taking this opportunity to build the strongest roster possible for Season 5.
