Die amerikanische TV-Liga ELEAGUE wird in eine dritte Season gehen. Das geht aus Statements von Vizepräsidentin Christina Alejandre gegenüber Slingshotesports hervor. Dabei sei aber noch nicht klar, welches Spiel gezeigt werde. Die Liga möchte erreichen, dass der Zuschauer wegen der ELEAGUE einschalte und nicht wegen dem Spiel Counter-Strike. Neben den zwei CS:GO-Seasons seit Juni diesen Jahres wurde im September auch ein Overwatch-Turnier ausgetragen.
Statement Christina Alejandre, Vizepräsidentin ELEAGUE:
There are definitely plans for another season next year, and in the next couple of weeks and months we will give more details on that. I want people to tune in to ELEAGUE, not tune in to ELEAGUE Counter-Strike because it’s Counter-Strike. I want them to say, ‘What’s the new season of ELEAGUE? What are they doing? What are the games they’re doing? Oh, it’s the ELEAGUE name, I have to tune in.
