Soeben erreichte uns eine etwas überraschende Meldung aus dem Hause Fnatic. Paul ‚sOAZ‚ Boyer, der nun fast zwei Jahre bei Fnatic war und gemeinsam mit seinen Teamkollegen eine Serie von drei LCS-Titeln in Folge erzielte, verlässt das Team. Auf der offiziellen Website hieß es, dass sich beide Parteien auf eine Trennung geeinigt haben. Im folgenden Artikel seht ihr außerdem das Statement seinerseits zum Abgang.

I have been able to experience so many good memories, some of the best in my entire life, with Fnatic. I want to thank everyone that worked with us and all the people that I have played with, it was a hard decision to make but together we felt it was time for me and Fnatic to part ways.
I have been playing league for a really long time but this is not the end for me. I want to wish the best to everyone in Fnatic. I’m looking forward to seeing the new guys play in LCS and cheer for my boy Yellowstar. Lastly I would like to thanks all the fans that have been supporting us for the past few years, it truly means a lot to me.

Mit den Worten „Willkommen in einer neuen Ära von Fnatic“ begann der zweite Teil der Meldung. Pierre ‚Steeelback‚ Medjaldi und Bora ‚YellowStar‚ Kim werden von nun an die Bot-Lane übernehmen. Der dreifache Challenger Series-Champion Fabian ‚Febiven‚ Diepstraten wird die Mid-Lane kontrollieren. Den ehemaligen Incredible Miracle Jungler Kim ‚Reignover‚ Ui-jin wird es nun wieder in den Jungle ziehen und zu guter Letzt wird SeungHoon ‚Huni‚ Heo die Top-Lane verteidigen.
Febiven ist nun schon seit langem in unserem Visier. Er verbessert sich in kleinen und großen Sprüngen und ist gespannt auf die LCS. Während seiner Zeit bei H2K konnte er sich auf die Liste der besten Europäer pirschen. Steeelback wurde sorgfältig von YellowStar ausgewählt. Die beiden haben einige Spiele miteinander gespielt und ihre Denkweise auf der Bot-Lane passt perfekt zusammen. Die Suche führte Fnatic weiter nach Süd-Korea. Dort fanden sie Reignover und Huni, beide haben ein sehr großes Potential. Nach vielen Gesprächen merkten sie, dass die beiden Koreaner eine unglaubliche Lust am Spiel haben. Das Team befindet sich zur Zeit noch auf einem Bootcamp in Brüssel, dort wird das Management sicherstellen, ob das Team bereit für das erste Spiel der LCS ist. I am extremely happy to join such a prestigious organisation like Fnatic. They have been in the scene for a long time and have a really good reputation and track record. I have high expectations for this team and I will do my best to succeed and achieve good performances. I hope all the Fnatic fans stick with our new roster and will cheer for us. Playing for Fnatic in the EU LCS is my dream and I’m ready to live it.

I’m really excited and happy to join Fnatic, it is a totally new adventure for me since it’s the first time I will play professionally. I want to prove myself and earn my spot among the good ADCs in Europe.
Fnatic has always been a huge organisation since the beginning, they have always had really good results and I’m extremely motivated to continue that tradition. It’s a dream come true for me to play at this level and for these fans. My goal is to do my best to help the team succeed in the LCS and live up to the expectations we have set.

I am really glad to join Fnatic and would like to thank them for giving me an opportunity to play here. I will try my best to perform and I sincerely hope we can grow together to be the best team in Europe. It is my first time visiting this part of the world, things are unfamiliar for me, but the people are so kind and I am having a really good time. It is an honour for me to join Fnatic. I was just an amateur player in the Korean server, but I gained a lot of experience, and learned many things while staying with the Samsung team. I had overcome almost all of the flaws that amateurs have. Due to my age I didn’t have opportunities to play in leagues, so I am very eager to prove myself at this level. I won’t disappoint you!
