It has been nothing but an amazing experience to follow Martin „Rekkles” Larsson journey from being an immensely talented amateur player who developed into one of the world’s best ADC players in the world, as well as the extremely charismatic and popular athlete he is today. Rekkles joined our ranks in the end of 2012 and much thanks to his ambition and skill we immediately saw success in international tournaments, with medals at events such as Dreamhack Winter, Thor and IPL5. With the arrival of LCS in 2013, we had to temporarily replace Martin due to Riot’s age policies, but this did not stop Martin’s dedication and ambition – he was certainly here for the long run. With Martin coming back to our starting line-up in end of 2013 we managed to maintain our consistency in European LCS and eventually, Riot awarded Martin as the MVP of the conference at GamesCom 2014, something that served as a proof and testimony to his hard work and amazing skill sets. Sometimes words are not adequate to express feelings, but the very least I can do at this moment of Rekkles departure is to thank him for everything he has done for our organisation. We are extremely proud to have been part of your story until this moment Martin, and we hope that our paths cross each others once more in the future, until then: GL & HF in everything you do – kör hårt!
