Bereits bei der Durchführung des Turniers kam es zu unprofessionellem verhalten der Organisation, so wurde zum Beispiel das Dota 2-Turnier kurz zu vor abgesagt, dann wurde bekannt, dass die Hotelzimmer der Spieler nicht bezahlt waren. Jetzt steht auch noch der Ausfall des Preisgeldes für die Gewinner des Turniers fest.
Es kommen immer weitere Details an die Oberfläche. Nachdem der CEO von G2 Esports, Carlos ‚Ocelote‘ Rodriguez, bereits in einem Statement sagte er würde weiter um das Preisgeld für sein Counter-Strike-Team kämpfen, welches damals noch unter dem Namen „Team Kinguin“ spielte.

The Gaming Resorts claims that the company holds no assets to cover losses, and as such, will automatically be declared bankrupt within the next three months. It adds that, even if the case goes to court, G2 and the other interested parties will not receive the prize money they are owed.
Nun gab der CEO von der Firma Gaming Resort, Sasa Bulic, ebenfalls ein Statement zur aktuellen Sache und verhöhnte damit die Spieler wie auch die ganze Esport-Community mit höchst unprofessionellem Verhalten.
