Wie die Organisation Fnatic am Freitag bekannt gab, wurde der isländische Spieler Hafþór ‚Hafficool‘ Hákonarson nun offiziell als DPS in das Roster aufgenommen. Schon seit der DreamHack Winter im November spielt er als Stand-In für das Team, wo er ihnen zum Finale gegen Misfits verhalf und somit zum zweiten Platz. Der ehemalige Team Fortress 2-Spieler war zuvor Mitglied bei Ninjas with Attitudes.

I’m really excited to join Fnatic, it’s been a long term goal of mine to play professionally! Fnatic has been an organisation I’ve always looked up to and it’s really exciting to be a part of it now. I really get along with all the Fnatic members and i meshed well with them personally early on, especially my love Vonethil, and I can’t wait to go to Korea with them.

I am delighted to announce that we are officially signing Hafficool as
our new Overwatch starting Flex/DPS player. Hafþór took very little time
to mesh with the rest of the team and was able to quickly adapt to the
team’s needs. With our eyes now set on OGN Apex Season 2, we are excited
to have him wearing our colours during our time in Korea!
