Hello, I’m Reignover. I am extremely sorry, but I have decided to play outside of Fnatic and now I’m trying to start a new challenge in another region of the LCS. As I look back on the year with Fnatic, the biggest feeling that I have is thankfulness. First of all, I’m sincerely thankful for all fans who support me and cheer for me. I will never be able to forget the passionate Fnatic fans. I also feel big thanks for Fnatic the organization, trusting me just by seeing my willingness and giving me a chance to play on this stage. By playing in Fnatic, I’ve learned so much inside and outside of game. The people that I’ve met from Fnatic were all full of passion and positive emotion, that it affected me so much even as a person. I think I was extremely lucky that I got to play at Fnatic. If I was not at Fnatic, I think I would not have improved so fast and would not have gone this far so fast. Being able to play in front of big crowds such as LCS, MSI, and the Worlds stage were for sure some of the best moments I had in my life. Being in competition with the best players and the best teams were my dreams. Again, I’m so thankful to Fnatic for giving me the opportunity. As I joined Fnatic, many people didn’t like me and I got a lot of criticism. I really wanted to prove myself, and I thought that it was my last chance and best chance to do this, so I really tried hard and tried my best to improve. As time passed, I had many successes, I got many positive results from the hard work. I didn’t realise at that time, but on the other hand, I think I was started to get tired. When I actually realised that I was getting burned out, it was already a serious problem for me. I was way too focused on League for a long time, later, I was feeling depressed, and ended up losing the desire to play as much as before. After I told the team about my problem, they tried to help me in many ways for a long time, but it could not solve my issue optimally. I think I was feeling extreme stress myself during those days, because of the reason that I was not enjoying myself anymore. I assume that it was because Fnatic, as a team, didn’t feel a real threat during the whole split and the meta was pretty much paused for a long time. As we competed at Worlds, starting from bootcamp, doing the group stage, quarters and semis, I learnt so many things and by experiencing high competition, I was able to get rid of my depression. After this experience, I realised that having challenges or putting myself in a new environment would help me a lot to have higher desire, emotion, and mindset as a player. Finally I decided to play outside of Fnatic. It was not in my plan even a few weeks ago, but as I thought about it after Worlds, and having been offered a good opportunity elsewhere, I think it is the right decision for me. I really love playing at Fnatic, love my teammates, and fans, but I hope they understand me. Thank you.

Offizielles Statement von Huni:

I would like to say thanks for all the support in 2015. It was great for me, even as a first time pro-player you guys were really, really nice 🙂 I hope you guys still support me even though I will go to another region as I want to try a new experience as a player. About my relationship with Fnatic, I would just like to say that I still have really good relationships with everyone. Again, thank you guys and see you…soon I will bring good news!
