Indien mit erster im TV übertragenen eSports-Liga

Der Indische Geschäftsmann und Wohltäter Ronnie Screwvala ermöglicht die Ausstrahlung einer 2-mal im Jahr stattfindenden CS:GO und Dota2 Liga namens UCypher League, die ein Gesamtpreisgeld von ca. $76.000 haben wird. Die erste Saison der UCypher League soll bereits im April starten und neben Twitch und Youtube auch über MTV Indien ausgetrahlt werden. Damit kommt Screwvala in einem ersten Schritt einem Versprechen nach, $15.000.000 in den indischen eSport zu investieren.

We want to increase the popularity and get more people to watch esports. If we do a live telecast, it will be difficult to get non-gamers. Therefore, we have decided to package it smartly, we know the art of storytelling, which will make for a good programming too. […] We are following a multiplatform approach.
