Erst vor wenigen Tagen gab Brandon ‚Saintvicious‘ DiMarco das Ende seiner Karriere bekannt, verkündete aber auch, dass er der Szene erhalten bleiben will. Wie dieses Engagement aussehen soll, stand bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt jedoch noch nicht fest. Nun wurde seitens Team Coast bekannt gegeben, dass Saintvicious dem Team von nun an als Coach zur Seite stehen wird, um den Sprung zurück in die LCS zu schaffen. Allerdings gab Saintvicious auch zu, dass Team Coast nicht seine erste Wahl gewesen ist.
Via Reddit gab er bekannt, dass er auch bei seinem ehemaligen Weggefährten George „HotshotGG“ Georgallidis angefragt hatte, die Position des Coachs zu diesem Zeitpunkt jedoch schon besetzt war.
Statement Brandon ‚Saintvicious‘ DiMarco:
I am really excited to work with the Coast organization and start building a stronger team from the ground up to make it into the LCS and shoot for worlds. I think this is a great opportunity and an excellent chance to prove that I have what it takes to be a strong coach in the LCS.
Statement David Slan (Eigentümer Team Coast):
We have a lot of work to do to rebuild the team, and regain the trust of the community. Saintvicious will be given the authority he needs to make those changes, and improve Team Coast. We can’t think of a better person for the job.
