Schweizer Organisation Dead Pixels verpflichtet Scarlett, FeaR und Clem

Nachdem im März diesen Jahres der letzte Südkoreaner Jo ‚Patience‘ Ji Hyun das Schweizer Team Dead Pixels verlassen hatte, hörte man von der Organisation mit vielen bekannten Gesichtern aus Europa nur wenig. Doch in den vergangenen Tagen nahm die Organisation gleich drei Verpflichtungen vor. Neu im Team ist unter anderem Sasha ‚Scarlett‘ Hostyn, die zuletzt für Team Acer gespielt hatte. Die Kanadierin hatte in ihrer Karriere mehrere große Erfolge und dürfte als erste Spielerin aus Nordamerika im Team ein guter Zuwachs für Dead Pixels sein.

In der Ankündigung auf der Website von Dead Pixels wurde auch der deutsche Akteur Richard ‚FeaR‘ Au erwähnt. Der erst 16-jährige Protossspieler spielte zuletzt für AT Gaming und hat eine Menge Potenzial. In der SC2Improve Team League Season 6 erzielte er gegen Cascade sogar einen All Kill.

Nach der Ankündigung von Scarlett und FeaR hatte Dead Pixels einen weiteren Spieler via Twitter verlautbart. Der französische Spieler ‚Clem‘ wird fortan für Dead Pixels spielen. Er erzielte Aufmerksamkeit durch seine Qualifikation für die WCS Spring Circuit Championship 2016. Doch diese Qualifikation war nicht zulässig, da Clem zu diesem Zeitpunkt erst 14 Jahre alt war und die Regeln der WCS ein Mindestalter von 16 Jahren beinhalten. Doch der Terraner zeigte durch diese Leistungen in der Qualifikation, dass er für sein junges Alter ein hohes Potenzial hat und man mit Sicherheit mehr von ihm sehen wird.

Hey everyone ! It’s been awhile since I’ve been on a team after Team Acer disbanded so it’s nice to be back on one;

It took me a while to decide exactly what I wanted from a team and from sc2, and my main focus from now (well from a couple months ago really) will be competing in Korea, no matter how difficult it may be. Dead Pixels was happy to assist me in this, so I’m very glad to be joining them, and hope to achieve some good tournament performances this year!

After it has been quiet around the Dead Pixels starcraft 2 roster as of late i am now excited to
break the silence with a bang! I’m confident that the pick-ups of Scarlett and FeaR will significantly strengthen our team and that everyone involved will grow bigger and stronger. With Scarlett we bring lots of experience to the team whereas FeaR offers some young and fresh air for everyone to benefit from. These pick-ups prove that we will continue supporting Starcraft 2 because we believe it is a beautiful and entertaining game that is far from dying. While we already have a sizeable roster it does not mean that we are going to stop looking into picking up suitable fits for the team. Watch out for the dPix-tag in upcoming online and offline events!
