In League of Legends, CS:GO und Hearhtstone hat man seitens G2 Esports bereits Top Spieler auf der Habenseite zu verzeichnen. Nun wird sich ein weiterer vielversprechender Spieler in Zukunft das Trikot der spanischen Organisation überstreifen. Mit der Verpflichtung von Weston ‚Westballz‘ Dennis erweitert G2 sein Engagement im E-Sports und wird in Zukunft auch in Smash Bros. Melee vertreten sein, wie die Organisation auf ihrer Internetpräsenz verkündete.
Seinen ersten Auftritt unter neuer Flagge wird Westballz bei der Evolution Championship Series 2016 haben, die in drei Tagen in Las Vegas stattfinden wird.

I am excited to be the first Smash player for G2, and for G2 to join the Melee community. My goal is simple: be the best player in the world and win titles. Expectations are high as my first tournament will under G2 will be Evolution 2016. I will work hard on making G2 proud!

Personally, I am incredibly hyped about the fact that G2 is entering a new scene, especially with someone like Weston. After having many talks with him, I can say that he is the type of player that fits our mentality, he is a born winner and a competitive beast but he still has a really likeable personality. I cannot wait to see Weston wear our jersey and represent G2 at EVO, and also watch his streams afterwards.
