TSM verpflichtet Weldon Green als Coach und Psychologe

Die in den Vereinigten Staaten gegründete Organisation Team SoloMid erhält neuen Zuwachs im Bereich Coaching. So wird Weldon Green vordergründig das League of Legends-Roster als taktischer Trainer, aber auch auf psychologischer Ebene unterstützen. Bei seiner Arbeit steht ihm Parth ‚Parthenaan‘ Naidu, seines Zeichens Gameplay-Coach bei TSM, zur Seite. Green weist nicht nur Erfahrung in der professionellen Gaming-Szene, sondern auch im traditionellen Sport vor.

Das neue Staff-Mitglied stößt bei der bevorstehenden Zusammenarbeit mit Team SoloMid nicht auf Neuland, denn schon im Frühling half der Sportpsychologe dem aktiven League of Legends-Lineup durch Workshops und Tipps. Die nun sehr viel engere Kooperation wird nach Aussagen eines offiziellen Statements der Organisation über die laufende Season andauern. Greens Familie und er selbst ziehen in den kommenden Wochen in das sonnige Los Angeles, wo sich auch das Spielerhaus des League of Legends-Teams befindet. Wie dem Staff-Update zu entnehmen ist, erhofft man sich viel durch den Einsatz des neuen Coachs.

As such, we hired Weldon as to be a part of our League of Legends coaching staff. From our previous experience with him, he was able to help us run practice efficiently, and he played a large part at helping the team come together as a cohesive unit during the last split. His experience in sports psychology was also useful at helping the players deal with personal issues and burnout. We hope that under his guidance, the players will be always able to give it their all on stage and come home victorious.

I’m really looking forward to having Weldon on board with us for the summer split. I have a lot of faith in his abilities to help develop the team and help them play the best they possibly can.
