escene.de: Hello Michal. You recently rejoined mTw. How does it feel to wear the jersey of the german powerhouse again?
Michal ‚Tulex‘ Zima: Hey! It feels great, with a great sponsor behind you the motivation rises and also the opportunity to visit more LANs comes.
It’s already the second time that you and syndereN play together in mTw. Is it the good teamwork, that makes him getting you back in the team again?
On a certain level, yes. I think we always clicked on both personal and in-game levels.
»What will make mTw strong is the teamspirit«
Only a few days left until the DreamHack Winter 2012 will start. SyndereN
and his teams won every DreamHack in Dota 2 so far. Do you think the winner is
already set in stone?
Well, it is going to be really hard to continue this legacy, since we have
only something under a month to prepare, but we will sure try our best.
mTw is known for their dedicated trainings. How does your preperation look
like?
We usually just choose a time we meet the next day and then we try to play at
least 2-3 games a day if it’s possible. Going to make it much more organized
soon and hopefully we will get more training time as well.
How many hours of playing Dota 2 are shown on your steamaccount for the last two weeks?
81.8 hours. 🙂
How would you describe your gamestyle? What makes mTw strong?
I love heroes which can make a lot of impact even early on with some levels,
especially the „blinkers“, or heroes which can solo kill. As far as
the team goes I don’t think we developed a style which characterizes us yet. What
will make mTw strong is the teamspirit.
You and your brother Warlog are playing together in mTw again. Do you think
this is an advantage?
I can’t say it’s a big in-game advantage as such, we don’t have telepathic
brother powers like Sedins, more the fact that we played a lot together before
counts. I really enjoy having a fellow Slovakian on a team as well and
especially my brother.
Are you still studying or could you imagine a life as a full-time
professional?
I’m still studying, I could definitely imagine a life as a full-time
professional, but it’s not possible for me at the moment.
How do you like the progress of Dota 2 since the release? Is there anything that should be changed in the future?
I love it, Valve is doing an amazing job, it’s really hard for me to find
something to criticize. I might be getting obsessed with them. 🙂
Thank you for the interview, Michal. The last words are yours!
