#UPDATE: Gambit mit spaze als waylander-Nachfolger

Ein Nachfolger für Jan ‚waylander‘ Rahkonen bei Gambit Gaming ist mit Ivan ’spaze‘ Obrezhan gefunden worden. Der 18-jährige Russe kommt vom ehemaligen Method-Lineup, dass am Montag entlassen wurde. Im Statement auf der Webseite lässt Gambit verlauten, dass man spaze die „notwendige Erfahrung“ zutraue. Sein Debüt wird er am Donnerstag beim Duell gegen HellRaisers im Rahmen des StarLadder iLeague Invitational geben.

Vorgänger waylander hatte auf Twitter verlautbart, dass er ab sofort nicht mehr für die Organisation auf dem Server anzutreffen sein wird. Genauere Gründe, warum er das Team verlassen hat, sind nicht bekannt. Im offiziellen Statement wird erklärt, dass man sich mit ihm seitens der Organisation auf keinen Kompromiss einigen konnte.

Statement Gambit zu waylander:

We are sad to announce that Jan „wayLander“ Rahkonen leaves Gambit CS:GO squad. It is obvious that our online results have been dissappointing, and we were multiple times just a step away from a chance to take part in many prestigious tournaments and leagues. Unfortunately, after 3 months of cooperation we did not manage to find a compromise with Jan. We genuinely consider him having a big potential, and being one of the most promising CIS CS:GO players. Nevertheless, today during the team meeting the decision which appeared to be the best for all the parties was made.

Tomorrow we will start emergency negotiations with possible candidates to replace Jan. We would like to wish Jan the best in his future career.
