BIG verpflichtet FIFA-Spieler

Football’s coming home. Wie die deutsche Organisation BIG am Donnerstag verkündete, wird man zukünftig auch im Bereich des virtuellen Fußballs vertreten sein. In Zukunft wird der Profi Oguzhan ‚oguzhan‘ Metin für das Teams aus der Hauptstadt auf Tore- und Punktejagd gehen. Der 22-Jährige konnte bislang zwar noch keine großen Titel gewinnen, sorgte aber bereits beim FUT-Champions-Cup Ende Januar in Barcelona für Aufmerksamkeit innerhalb der internationalen Szene.

Für BIG sind es die ersten Gehversuche im E-Sport-Bereich FIFA. Während man in CS:GO bereits einige Erfolge feiern konnte, verpflichtete man für die kommende ESL Meisterschaft Sommer 2018 zusätzlich ein League of Legends-Team. Auf FIFA habe man aber auch bereits seit längerem ein Auge geworfen, wie Geschäftsführer Daniel Finkler in einem Statement erklärte. Die Verpflichtung von Metin war somit eine logische Konsequenz, um mit einem talentierten Spieler in der Szene durchzustarten.
