Our performance during the summer split did not in any way reflect the potential of the team or the players we had on the roster. At a certain point the chemistry was totally off and even though all of us tried to fix it, a change became unavoidable. Finishing 2nd in Europe only one year ago at Gamescom 2012 was great. Ending up 3rd and 4th in the spring split was acceptable, but the continuing downward tendency turned the summer split into a disaster. We explored all possibilities in August and discussed them with the team. When an opportunity for a player transfer of both DE Kevin ‚kev1n‘ Rubiszewski and FR John ‚hyrqBot‘ Velly came up, we sat down with the NiP management and hammered out the agreement within 24 hours. I can say that both teams handled the situation extremely professional. We informed Riot Games immediately and are happy to announce the transfer. The terms of this deal are between SK and NiP and will stay there. I would like to take the opportunity and thank both players for the time they spent with us. It was quite a journey and we wish them all the best for the future with their new team, especially for the upcoming promotion match for season 4. We will use the opportunity at hand and for now test different team compositions in order to develop a stable and competitive team for our promotion match. So far nothing is set in stone and anything can happen within the upcoming months.

I come from playing Football in a decent level, aswell as Paddle and other sports. And the number one rule in every single team was: „What happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room.“ Some sort of „What happens in Vegas, stays ln Vegas.“ thing. Kevin and John are amazing players, aswell as Nyph and Candypanda. And SK Gaming is an incredible organization built to make people happy. We got a very nice relationship and good sinergy. Both players and management. But sometimes a little change means so much for your happiness. Things don’t necesarily need to be going bad to trigger a change. Everything is directly related with your own happiness and way of living. The years with Kevin and months with John only improved my thoughs about them. Same for SK Gaming as organization, Nyph and Candy. New horizons are ahead of us (of everyone of us) and only happiness is awaiting. Best of luck (truely, speaking with my heart) for my two friends and colleagues Kevin and John. Life’s good.
